THE DESIGN INSPIRATION AND CONCEPT

I’ve always been fascinated by concert posters and album covers of the 1950s. Considering the Listening Lab contains thousands of records from the ‘50s , I thought this would be a good opportunity to work on that style of design. Everything from the color palette to the type faces are inspired by Rhythm and Blues, Rock ‘n’ Roll, and Blues posters.
